In 2025 gold runners will receive FREE – as part of your entry – a Trail Running Series 500ml soft flask with a wide mouth for easy refilling and a bright green head buff made of 100% premium polyester microfibre blend with distinctive Trail Series branding (you can’t have too many buffs!)
Finisher Medal $9.95 per race
New for 2025! Separate medals for each race in the series, with all 3 combining to create a unique trifecta medal! Custom printed, made of timber with unique lanyard. Singular race medals are $9.95 each.
WHY: We are providing runners the opportunity to purchase a finisher medal before the race rather than including the cost of the medal in the entry fee for all runners. We have made this decision to keep entry fee costs down and to minimise the wastage of making and giving a medal to someone who does not want it. A few notes about the medals below:
- we will only present medals to runners who actually do the race, we will not sell them to someone who does not participate
- one finisher medal per person – you cannot buy multiple medals
- medal must be pre-purchased before the event via the merchandise page or entry system
- medals will be available to collect after runners finish on the day of the event and must be collected at the event

Bitumen is Boring Race Belt $15
Bitumen is Boring elastic race belt is an adjustable waist belt that allows you to attach your race number to it so it’s always displayed during a race and comes with an adjustable clip. Dimensions: 92cm x 2.5cm
Race Plate Postage $12
New for 2025 is the option to have your race plate posted to you before the event. If not – then just collect them on race day morning – easy! Please note: Race plates will be sent and are required to be paid separately. So if you are entering Race 1 and Race 3 only, you will be required to pay postage for both plates separately. If you are entering as a Series Runner (all 3 races) only one postage is required.
Cut off dates for postage:
- Competitors who enter RACE 1 (or the series) BEFORE 8.00am Monday 12th May 2025 have the option during the entry process to add on postage so your number plate is delivered to you.
- Competitors who enter RACE 2 BEFORE 8.00am Monday 16th June 2025 have the option during the entry process to add on postage so you number plate is delivered to you.
- Competitors who enter RACE 3 BEFORE 8.00am Monday 14th July 2025 have the option during the entry process to add on postage so your number plate is delivered to you.
WHY: in previous years we have posted plates to most runners beforehand but we found that a large number of plates got lost in the post or were forgotten when it came to race day. As well as the extra work to pack the envelopes and use of paper and delivery men / women to do drop off… and it was not working very well. So if you really want to receive your plate beforehand that’s up to you, and if not then just collect on the day.
